Find the best therapist that suits your needs.
Lauren Robinson, LMFT
Hi there, I’m so happy you found my page!
I’m all about making sure every person I work with feels truly heard, supported, and leaves our sessions feeling lighter and brighter. My approach is to set clear goals, introduce some structure, and take actionable steps to help you move forward. I want every client to walk away with a better sense of well-being than when they arrived, no matter what challenges they’re facing.
I bring extensive experience in supporting individuals affected by domestic violence, including women and children. My specialized training equips me to address all stages of the domestic violence cycle and assist in trauma reprocessing.
After earning my master’s degree, I dedicated three years to working with at-risk youth and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic. This role involved addressing family stress, depression, and anxiety. Additionally, I provided therapeutic support to high school students dealing with misdemeanor offenses.
More recently, I transitioned to a career counseling role with college students, where I focus on fostering personal growth and facilitating their transition to independence. I offer guidance on professional skills such as resume and cover letter writing, networking, and interview preparation.
Tailoring my services to fit each person's unique life needs is key for me. I use a mix of techniques like solutions-focused, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and emotionally focused therapy. At my core, I’m a client-centered therapist who values each individual’s uniqueness. I bring a splash of humor and a positive, affirming attitude to create a warm, welcoming space where you can share what's on your mind.
I especially enjoy working with women finding their voice and making space in their lives, helping parents rediscover themselves after their kids leave home, guiding couples back to each other, and supporting emerging adults as they navigate life’s big transitions or their new independence.
I look forward to walking with you with whatever you are facing in life right now!
